BorgWarner is an American company formed in 1928 by the merger of Borg & Beck and Warner Gear, making it a leading supplier of powertrains and systems. In 1993, Borg-Warner Automotive Inc. was spun off from the Borg-Warner Security Corporation and became an independent company, and the KKK and Schwitzer brands were merged. Among BorgWarner’s main products are turbochargers, of which the company has developed a wide range for various applications in cars, trucks, and even industrial and marine applications. Another key market for its products is the aftermarket for cars, commercial vehicles and off-road vehicles. It is an original equipment manufacturer for almost all major automotive manufacturers worldwide.
